The first step
The Kothakotae Pupils High School (KPS) was established in the year of 1986, with a need for imparting education to young minds and making them future ready. Steered by the cause of pioneering quality education in the drought effected area of Wanaparthy District, the KPS group embarked on this journey by providing Day Scholar and Residential schooling facilities for the children of Kothakota town.

Kothakotae Pupils High School is set-up under the mentorship of Sarala Educational Society, a body constantly working towards imparting premier quality education to the community of Wanaparthy irrespective of any caste, color or creed. The group’s endeavor has always been to position the children of the school as frontline leaders by providing top-notch facilities and futuristic education, that prepares students for life beyond the four walls of an educational institution. To pursue this objective, KPS is affiliated to the CBSE Board and is recognized by the Government of Telangana. Currently, the school consists of Nursery to Class X with English being the medium of teaching. KPS carries 30+ years of rich experience in education and we are proud about our 7000+ students who passed out of our school, making our institution one of the oldest and largest educational institutions in the advancing District of Wanaparthy.
