Our Laboratories

The school has separate labs for Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Home Science. The labs are well equipped with the latest equipment’s, specimens, chemicals / reagents and appliances. It is here that the skills, aptitudes and abilities are sharpened and the students know how to apply practically the knowledge they have gained.

Atal Tinkering Lab

KOTHAKOTA PUPILS HIGH SCHOOL is one of the very few schools in wanaparthy district identified by the Government of India to establish Atal Tinkering Lab [ATL] under the auspices of Atal Innovation Mission and Grant-in-aid by Niti Aayog, Government of India.

The Atal Tinkering Lab is a designated 1500 sq.ft. space Laboratory with state-of-the-art facilities, set aside for creating and enabling students to work with tools and equipment’s to understand the concepts of STEM [Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics] thereby fostering curiosity, creativity, innovation and imagination in their young minds and thoughts. The experimenting in the ATL will pave way to inculcate skills such as design mind set, computational thinking, adaptive learning, physical computing, etc., in the brains and intellects of the young students eventually leading to discoveries, innovations and inventions. The Hands-on Experience and “DIY” [Do It Yourself] concept of Atal Tinkering Labs will motivate our young generation to carve a brighter future for them and for the nation.

The Atal Tinkering Lab is equipped with unique equipment’s, distinctive machineries and advanced technological tools viz., Humanoid, 3D Printer, Robotics, Augmented Reality, Rapid Prototyping Tools, VR Expansion Studio, Sensors,  Internet of Things, Electrical, Mechanical, Power accessories, Safety, etc.

Computer Lab

The school has three excellent computer labs with networking which provide computer education to all students from Class I to X. Students here learn programming skills, create presentations and develop web pages.

Digital Learning

The school has audio visual aids like online story telling apps like storytel & Multi Media and latest educational online websites like Khan Academy to impart education effectively. The Digital smart boards are in the offering, adding a new dimension to the Information and Communication Technology.

TABS are provided to connect to smart TV’s in classrooms to show relevant pictures, videos for enhanced visual learning process of a child. Byju’s is digital content partner for IIT/NEET foundation program students.
