Non Academic – Activities at KPS
Children’s Day
“There is no garden as beautiful as childhood”. At KPS, Children’s Day is a week full of buzzing excitement and joy for children. The Grand Finale is conducted on 14th November with parents and guests witnessing the enthusiastic performances by students.
Colour Day
Learning about colours is very important step in Kindergarten. Our Pre-primary students celebrate colours day where they are unveiled to various objects, toys, food items of a particular colour. The whole Pre-primary campus will be radiating the same colour on that particular day as our tiny tots and teachers also dress up in same colour to develop their visual discrimination of that particular colour.
Elections
Whole school vote and select School leader, Sports leader, Cultural leader and class wise leader and this enables to make students understand on how democratic elections work and also enhance their decision making skills
Sports Day For Parents
School also conduct competitions to parents to participate in various sporting events and this enables parents to feel young and school honours the winners on SPORTS DAY along with student winners.
Sports and Dance
Every year 4 colour clubs “Blue”, “Green”, “Red”, “Orange” compete amongst each other in two categories SPORTS and GROUP DANCE COMPETITIONS. The winner in respective categories gets the rolling trophy and Its war time at KPS to witness these two events.
Sharing Day
Sharing is caring, the entire school fraternity believes this and on 4th Saturday of every month students share the food prepared at their homes with the fellow students and teachers and the whole school looks forward to share food and love with friends and teachers.
Festival Celebrations
School cultural club focuses on celebrating every Indian festivals during the academic year to keep up the mythological understanding of the festival and also in developing cultural belonging towards this society and nation
